Mount Olive New Jersey Severe Weather Alert

MOUNT OLIVE, NEW JERSEY (Oct 28, 2008)- What a day. Approximately 13,000 township residents are without power tonight as Mount Olive and much of the state was soggy, slushy, and yes... snowy when a Nor'easter blew through the garden state.

The Mt. Olive Police Department is not just here to protect and serve the general public and people of our town.

They put forth a huge effort to help educate our children. They have a fantastic D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program as well as many other support services available such as: Traffic Bureau, Public/Press Information, Crisis Response Team, School Resource Officer, Liquor Licensing, Background Investigations, Grants, Megan's Law, and Training.
